Gail Laser has been an attorney specializing in criminal law for over 25 years.  She began her career as a prosecutor and Assistant District Attorney in the Brooklyn District Attorney’s Office, as a trial lawyer specializing in violent robberies and sex crimes.  From there, she tried cases at the Office of the Special Prosecutor, focusing on police corruption.  After four years prosecuting cases, she turned to criminal defense, trying cases and representing clients almost exclusively in the federal courts in the New York area, Manhattan, Queens, Brooklyn, Long Island, Westchester, the Second and Third Circuits.

A graduate of Boston University School of Law, Ms. Laser opened her own law office in 1994, handling cases involving securities fraud, large scale narcotics distribution, business and insurance fraud, and Organized Crime.  Her experience focused on thorough investigation of all possible defenses and mitigating circumstances, suppression arguments, and pre-trial attacks on the charges, through arraignment and dismissal, settlement or trial.  She also writes and argues appeals in the United States Court of Appeals.  She expanded to a second office in Park City, Utah in 2009, working there in both the federal and state courts.
